Susan Napier is the pen of Susan Potter (b. 1954). She was born on Valentine's Day, making for a natural lead-in to her career. Before turning to fiction-writing, she worked as a journalist, and then she married the boss. As many others she started to write while staying at home because of her children. Her first book for Mills & Boon, Sweet Vixen was launched in Paperback as part of a New Authors Pack in August 1984. Since then she has written more than 30 romance novels and she still likes the challenge of the genre. She lives in Auckland, New Zealand.
