Biography

Parris Afton Bonds co-founded both the Romance Writers of America and the Southwest Writers Workshop. She is a native of Florida, born July 21. Bonds has also authored over 35 novels, which span a wide range of romance sub-genres. In 1981, Time magazine called Bonds one of the many women who supplement their family income by writing romance novels, quoting Bonds as saying that she begins her work "after the diapers are rinsed," and in 1983 "Nightline" cited Bonds as "one of the three bestselling authors of romantic fiction."[1].

As an author for Silhouette Romance, Parris Afton Bonds published more than thirty-five novels.
