Help:Book Template
Revision as of 22:34, 13 February 2006 by Romancewiki (talk | contribs)
To help you get started with adding content, we've created a few templates for common content items. The easiest way to use these templates is to copy and paste them into your new page -- then you can start adding information.
To creat a new entry for Books:
- Copy the code for the template from below.
- Go the main Books page -- navigate to the appropriate letter of the alphabet.
- Open the list by clicking on the "edit" button. Add the title to the list.
- Since there are titles for almost every letter of alphabet in the wiki, you can follow the syntax easily.
- Save the list and click on your newly created page.
- Paste the template into the edit box and you're ready to go!
For books, pay special attention to the code done in ALL CAPS - Author Name, ISBN Number and book description. Before you copy and paste the code below, a few more notes:
- A book can have one or more categories. Categories help link your book to similar titles. For example, if you add the following:

your title will appear on a page with other Time Travel titles. Add as many categories as you feel are appropriate.
- Examples of categories include:
 (add the correct year)
The Template
Below is the basic book template. Modify it to meet your needs.
* Author: AUTHOR NAME * Publisher: Publisher Name * Year: Year Published * Setting: Information about the setting. * Amazon Listing - BOOKTITLE HERE BOOK DESCRIPTION == Awards == * == Related Titles == * == Reviews == * [Link To Reviews]
