Biography
Denise Robins was a well-known British author who wrote in multiple genres. As an author for Harlequin Romance, she published one novel.
She also published under the names Ashley French, Harriet Gray, Julia Kane, and Francesca Wright. She was born in 1897 and passed away in 1985. She was the mother of British author Claire Lorrimer. Her portrait hangs in the National Portrait Gallery in the United Kingdom. The 1931 film The Road to Singapore was based on her novel Heat Wave.
