Gina Wilkins finds creating happily-ever-after romances an easy task - she simply uses her own life as an inspiration! Raised with a romantic heritage as well as gift for storytelling she credits her successful career in romance to her long, happy marriage.

A lifelong resident of central Arkansas she sold her first category romance (Hero In Disguise) in 1987 to Harlequin for the Harlequin Temptation series and has been writing full-time since. She wrote for the Silhouette Special Edition imprint since 1988 under the name Gina Ferris and later Gina Ferris Wilkins, but starting with The Father Next Door of 1997 she writes as Gina Wilkins in that line.

Her first contemporary romance was published as a Pageant Romance in 1988 and since 2000 she writes for Harlequin and the Harlequin Signature Select imprint.
