Kit Marlowe is the nom de plume of medieval scholar, K. A. Laity. The name is a nod to both Elizabethan playwright Christopher Marlowe and to Bette Davis' character in the film of John van Druten's Old Acquaintance. Marlowe focuses primarily on humorous historical (and non-erotic) romance. Laity also writes erotic romance as C. Margery Kempe.
