Normally shy, quiet, unassuming Carol sets out to nab her man. She’s seen him frequent the local pub and knows that’s where he goes every Friday night after work. Dolled up to the nines, her plain hair highlighted, her drab matronly garb traded in for a sexy, slinky black dress, she sits at the bar and waits.
Two years after a nasty divorce, women in general aren’t high on Detective Taggert’s priority list. All he cares about is his work and his teenaged son.—until he surprises even himself by taking the sexy seductress home for one night of passion.

What the critics are saying
I thoroughly enjoyed One Night of Paradise. From the plot and characters, to the passion and humor this book kept me smiling. Carol is a beautiful woman inside and out. Readers will empathize with her doubts and fear and cheer all the harder that a man like Liam loves her. Liam is a wonderful male character, sexy and daring one moment while tender and persistent the next. Witnessing these two get together was a joy. Ms. Keaton’s writing is smooth and laced with humor and heat. The love scenes had me hoping their night would last a long time. As the author moves into the heart of their conflict readers are treated to humor that will have them laughing while also aching at the chance these lovers might lose. Fortunately, Liam doesn’t give up easily and well meaning friends are more than happy to lend a hand. Fans of Ms. Keaton will be doubly delighted by the reappearance of Steve and Gracie from Five Alarm Neighbor. I recommend checking both stories out.
