Amber Green writes intense, haunting fiction marked by raw violence and due regard for the scars it leaves. Nothing happens without consequence, which means the reader has to pay attention to everything going on despite often-breakneck pacing. These are definitely not beach reads, but for the reader willing to dive in headfirst, the rewards are worthwhile. See her website.
