The small town was in an uproar... An invisible hand was uncovering terrible secrets. Anonymous calls for justice appeared like magic, each one signed -- The Sea Gull. Elise Topard had witnessed a crime. She had never told a sole; but The Sea Gull knew. The Sea Gull also knew the Francoise had long cherished an impossible love. She received a note, leading her to a rendezvous in a Paris church. There she met the man whose links with her past both frightened and intrigued her. But one powerful man stood to lose everything. He had to stop The Sea Gull or be destroyed!
