Hello and welcome. I'm glad you found the RomanceWiki. We are not in any way opposed to self-promotion here, though we do appreciate it when authors do so with an eye toward the larger romance community. It's really important to me that th wiki reflects the romance genre, and I do get concerned when publishers who are also authors add content that seems to be more about them than anything else. I am concerned that your additions are close to the line because you're not linking back to source material (ie, the actual reviews) and I am worried that you're pulling in too much copyrighted material without those links. While most reviewers are thrilled to have their words quoted, it is courtesy to link back to the review (or site) in question.
I know this seems overly picky, but I think that, especially in the case of self-published work, credibility comes from merging with the community, and that includes linking back to source material, especially since we're trying so hard to complement their hard work.
Also, congratulations for such nice word from Mrs. Giggles. I have known her (in the Internet sense of the term) for years and, while she's hard to please, she's always someone I trust (and love corresponding with).--Romancewiki 21:34, 10 April 2008 (PDT)
