Romance And Movies
Romance novels and film go together quite nicely. In addition to novels being made into movies for the big screen or television, certain films remain favorites of romance readers and authors.
One film, 1987's Where The Heart Roams, focuses on the romance industry specifically. While the key player in the film is Barbara Cartland, other romance luminaries, such as Rebecca Brandewyne and Janet Dailey. In December 2008, Variety announced that New Regency had acquired a pitched called Mr. Romance; the proposed film was to be based on the actual "Mr. Romance" contest sponsored by Romantic Times Magazine[1].
