About the Author and Artist
Samantha lives in southwest Virginia with her extremely supportive husband, two teen-aged sons, and various dogs, cats and an eight-year-old turtle that she brought from California. She spends much of her time trying to teach cats not to type, while her garden threatens to take over the neighborhood.
When not writing—which isn’t often—Samantha’s either by her pond or on her porch swing. Okay, not really. Though she does love her pond and swing, Samantha is the homeschooling mother of two teenaged boys and the designer of a garden that has taken on a life of its own. Sitting? What’s that? Writing has been the call of a lifetime. While it’s fulfilling and challenging, the most difficult part so far has been keeping her cats from helping her type. After meeting her husband of nearly twenty years at Disneyland—and being proposed to on Pirates of the Caribbean—how could she write anything other than romances?
