Book Description
When Joceline’s cousin Camilla, married to a Frenchman and expecting her first baby, begged Joceline to go over to France and keep her company, she painted a hair-raising picture of her in-laws, the St. Aunes, and their harsh, unsympathetic ways. But soon after her arrival at the St. Aunes’ farm, Joceline began to realize that the real cause of the trouble was Camilla’s selfishness and refusal to accept her husband’s way of life. All of which did not prevent Joceline from speedily falling foul of Camilla’s brother-in-law Gervais – and as speedily falling in love with him!
