Shannon McKelden has been writing women's fiction and romance for many years. Her first novel, Venus Envy, is a Tor/Forge book published in January 2007. An active member of the Romance Writers of America, McKelden has served on the board of two local RWA chapters. She has published short stories and poetry in True Confessions and True Romance magazines and, when not pursuing her passion for romantic women's fiction, McKelden is also a contributing writer for an online parenting magazine and a romance/love advice columnist for Affaire de Coeur magazine, taking on the persona of the title character in her novel Venus Envy. She lives with her family in the Pacific Northwest.
