Cara Colter makes her home in British Columbia, Canada. She turned to writing fiction after majoring in journalism, and is the author of over 40 books. Colter is the recipient of the 2006 Romantic Times Magazine Career Achievement award in the Love and Laughter category.

As an author for the Silhouette Romance line, Cara Colter published 26 novels. Writing for the Harlequin Romance imprint, she has published one book.
