The Romantic Times Convention sponsored by the Romantic Times Magazine is possibly the wildest event in the romance genre. Readers and writers gather for days of revelry, including cover model contests and costume parties. The conference offers workshops and events geared toward readers, writers, booksellers, librarians, reviewers, editors, agents, book doctors, publishers, distributors, film makers, cover models, illustrators, and costumers.
Genres discussed at the convention include: paranormal, fantasy, science fiction, erotica, psychic, contemporary romance, multicultural romance, romantic suspense, mystery, thrillers, historical, and chick lit/Mom lit/lady lit. The annual multi-day event is attended by over 1,000 guests.
