She was a bride in name only.... Francesca had married Lionel Wolf only for the money needed to save her father's life. She thought of him as a sinister tyrant she could neither love nor respect. When Lionel took her to his remote estate on the Isle of Jersey, she met his family and felt their icy hostility. They loathed him and they hated Francesca because she was his wife.
