Kendra Mei Chailyn is a sensual romance author that was born on the beautiful island of Jamaica, Kingston to be exact but soon began moving all over the place. From Marverly, to Brown's Town, back to Marverly then eventually ended up in Golden Springs. At thirteen years old she was adopted and moved to Toronto Canada. It was a crazy move for she was not used to the cold especially snow. She began writing poems at an early age and soon graduated to song lyrics (when she was going through her "when I grow up I wanna be a singer" phaze. Eventually Kendra Mei stopped writing for she found a new love, acting. But she couldn't stay away from writing for very long. Soon Kendra Mei was trying her hand at scripts.

Her love of romance novels started at eight years old. She got bored between the bookmobile visits in Jamaica and dove under her mom's bed to find something to read. Kendra Mei crashed into her mother's Mills and Boons books and it was all down hill from there. She never paid attention to the content then, all she cared about was that she was reading.

At seventeen shedecided writing a romance isn't that easy so she decided to write my own. It wasn't as easy as she thought and by the time Kendra Mei turned eighteen, she had a three story series done and ready to go. But her computer didn't seem to like them for it crashed with them. But still she wrote.

In her spare time (though at times it seem that she doesn't have any) she loves acting, trying to sing like the girls in the Hindi movies, dancing, swimming, torturing my friends, cooking, reading, writing (of course), cultures and so much more. She is also a graduate of Radio Broadcasting with honours and a student attending University for her Honour's BA in Communications Studies with a Minor in Dramatic Arts.
