Disenchanted with international modeling, Lisa Kelly takes on the job of nanny to a four-year-old. Trouble is, boss Travis Jacobs is the proverbial bear with a sore tooth, a writer with writer’s block. He had also been her knight in shining armor, rescuing her from a hotel fire where her passion was lit with one kiss from this stranger with cupid heart arrows on his boxer shorts.

Burned in a previous marriage, Travis has sworn off women, grudgingly giving Kelly a trial that turns into a disaster as she learns to cope with his remoteness and her growing attraction to him.

When he discovers Lisa’s lies about her past, it destroys his trust once again.

Set amidst the wilds of New Zealand and the richly cultural heartland of the Tuhoe Tribe and Maori legends, Always a Bridesmaid is a story about starting over, learning to trust again, and daring to gamble on love as it encapsulates life and love’s challenges.

Standing in front of her was the ‘Heathcliff’ who’d kissed her goodnight. The man who had visited her dreams every night since. “You,” she finally managed to speak, though wished it could have been something more intelligent.

“So it would seem. Might I ask what you’re doing here?” His voice dripped ice and a shiver flickered down her spine.

Why did he sound so angry?
