Electronic books, or e-books, are books published entirely in electronic format. E-books are designed to be read at the computer or on a reading device (though those devices haven't yet met the promise of portability and convenience). Electronic books are gaining popularity among readers, especially erotica readers. Traditional publishers still lump e-book rights and royalties in the Ancillary category.
