In 1995, Harlequin began issuing additional Harlequin Presents titles to its mail-order subscribers. These books were only available by subscription and not sold in stores. The numbering for these titles began again at number one, despite being released at the same time as the regular Harlequin Presents titles, which were numbered differently.
