RITA®: Best Romantic Novella

The Romantic Novella was introduced in the RITA® competition in 2000. The novella category was rename Best Romantic Novella in 2004. For the 2008 RITA awards, the RWA board considered eliminating this category, but ultimately chose to keep it as part of the contest.
