HarperCollins
HarperCollins Publishers is one of the largest English-language publishers. It has its headquarters in New York. The company is a subsidiary of News Corporation and its name is a result of the purchase of U.S. company Harper & Row (founded in 1817, purchased in 1987) and British publisher William Collins & Sons (founded in 1819, purchased in 1990). HarperCollins has publishing groups in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia/New Zealand, and India.
