Mills and Boon started it's SuperRomance imprint in November 2001 under the name Silhouette Superromance. The imprint reissued Harlequin Superromance titles with new covers and it's own series numbering, but kept the Harlequin ISBN, which makes difficult to distinguish between the editions. Amazon's UK branch often gives the right cover and publication date (Amazon.UK and Amazon.com) but the right date but the wrong cover as well (Amazon.UK and Amazon.com).

2001 GB Superromance

Also Harlequin Special Releases were included in the imprint.

When Mills & Boon® renovated it's Silhouette imprints in March 2007, the imprint's name changed from Silhouette SuperRomance to Mills & Boon SuperRomance and to an ISBN in the Mills & Boon® range.

The current Superromance imprint is the second of this name in the UK. In 1983 Mills & Boon® released it's own imprint of Harlequin Superromance, which at that time were published by Worldwide in America. Because it was not a 1:1 adoption of the American edition but a selection, the line had it's individual numbering.

Until January 1985 it was possible to distinguish the UK edition by it's ISBN in the Mills & Boon® range, but until April 1986 the titles kept their originally Harlequin-ISBN. After that the UK edition had it's own ISBN in the Harlequin range until August 1990, when the separate UK line was discontinued and simply a selection of the American edition was available in the UK without changing the cover of the numbering, which ceased probably in 1999.

The The Baby Doctor by Bobby Hutchinson of 1997 had two UK releases: one in 1998 as Harlequin Superromance #753 ([1]), ([2]) and one in 2003 as Silhouette Superromance #80 ([3]).

SuperRomance Extra

In 2005 and 2006 occasionally titles - published in America in the Mira imprint - were relaesed as Extra.
