Biography
Phyllis Matthewman was a noted author of children's books, primarily "boarding school" storied, in the United Kingdom. Matthewman took up her writing career thanks to her husband Sidney's connections in the industry -- he was a literary agent after suffering a breakdown and his father ran the Swan Press. One of Matthewman's closest friends (and a client of her husband) was famous childrens' author Elinor Brent-Dyer. As an author for Harlequin Romance, she published two novels.
