Mills & Boon launched the Spotlight imprint - than called Silhouette Spotlight - in May 2003. It is a reissue of books form Mills & Boon's Silhouette imprints (Special Edition, Desire, Silhouette Sensation, SuperRomance and Intrigue) in one themed volume of 2 titles - at first with one and from January 2006 on with two releases each month. The amount of titles included could go up to 3 on special occasions.

In March 2007 Mills & Boon discontinued the Silhouette nomination and the imprint's name changed to Mills & Boon Spotlight. From January 2008 the volumes contained 2 or 3 titles depending on the length of the stories. Since titles from the Special Edition and SuperRomance imprint have more pages, reissues from those imprints are released as 2-in-1s, the others as 3-in-1s.
