Patricia Simpson (b. 1955) has a degree in art from the University of Washington and has worked as a graphic designer. Her computer gave her the idea for her first paranormal novel, Whisper Of Midnight, published in 1991. She wrote one of the earlier titles of the Silhouette Shadows imprint. After a break of almost 12 years she published the Forbidden Tarot series in 2005.
