Susan Donovan is a ''New York Times'' bestselling author of nine novels and three novellas  (as of May, 2010).  Her 2007 novel, THE KEPT WOMAN (St. Martin's Press) was a RITA finalist in the contemporary single title category.  Her 2003 novel, TAKE A CHANCE ON ME, was the Romantic Times Magazine  Reviewers Choice Award winner in the Contemporary Romance category.

Susan Donovan has had five novels and three novellas published since 2002. She lives in Maryland and is a member of the Washington Romance Writers. She was born and grew up in Ohio and attended Northwestern University. She graduated with a degree in journalism and a minor in Japanese language and sociology, then went on for her master’s degree.

Her novel, The Kept Woman, was nominated for a 2007 RITA in the Best Contemporary Single Title category.
