Jennifer Martinson knew precisely why her grandfather wanted her in Alaska. To drag poor Keenan back to California for a Martinson Brubecker marriage merger, the dream of two wily old powerbrokers.
Oh, Jen would go all right--but not to find a husband. She would find incredible opposition from Hal Bailey, head of Ultima's Arctic Research Facility--and sworn Martinson-hater.
