Valerie Parv is an Australia-based romance writer. She has written more than 50 romance novels and several non-fiction books.

In 2005, the Romance Writers Of Australia established the Valerie Parv Award. Each year, a winner is chosen on the basis of his or her writing and is mentored by Valerie Parv for a year. Parv is a founding member of the organization, established in 1988. She conducts writing workshops and seminars; her online courses can be accessed through her website.

As a Harlequin Presents author, Valerie Parv published three books. Writing for the Harlequin Romance imprint, she has published 17 novels. She is also the author of the non-fiction writing guide The Art Of Romance Writing.
