Excerpts

In Bad with Someone by Rosemary Laurey

Flicking off the TV, Rod stood and ambled down to the bathroom. He'd left the light on again. Still thinking hard about what to do about the Juliet question, he was unzipped and aiming straight at the china monster before it registered that the shower was running behind him.

Not quite believing his ears, he looked over his shoulder, then turned in horror.

The shower was running, and standing under the stream was a very wet, utterly naked Juliet.

And boy was she a sight to see! Firm breasts, high and lovely and just the right size of fill his hand. Her skin was all over pink from the warm water. Her hair plastered on her head only made her look sexier, he longed to sit her between his thighs and towel her curls dry, and while he was at it, he'd take good care of the sassy little auburn triangle between her legs.

"Good evening, Mr Carter," she said, her voice so cold it was a wonder the shower didn't freeze up.

The cowboy reached for his shirt and with an easy stride, sauntered toward her, bare-chested. God, she couldn't even swallow. He stopped a few feet away, the fence was still between them, but it was all she could do to breathe.

He nodded toward her camera.

"Tourist?" he drawled, his voice caressing her, touching her in places that turned her body heat up more than a notch.

"Freelance." At least she sounded a hell of a lot calmer than she felt.

He nodded again. "Lance Colby. I'm the foreman."

"Nina Harris." Her gaze moved over that very sexy body again. "I'd love for you to take off your clothes."

His eyebrows rose. "Ma'am?"

Come to a Bad End by Dianne Castell

John collapsed on top of Lilly, barely able to keep his weight on his arms for fear of squashing her flat. He didn’t want to let this moment go. Too intimate, too perfect, so filled with her. He never felt that way before. Sex was sex and he always gave as good as the got. But not this time. As much as he tried to please Lillie and make it good for her, she was the one who made it perfect for him. She gave him her body, her mind and a bit of her soul. “Dear, God, woman, what you do to me.”

“We just met,” she said breathless. “How can we... Why?”

With supreme effort he brought his head up and gazed at her. “Basic sexual chemistry for starters.”

“But we have issues.”

He kissed the tip of her nose. “Honey, the problem is chemistry doesn’t give a rat’s ass about issues.
