Judith A. Lansdowne (b. 1944) attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York and then spent several years touring the country as an actress and puppeteer before earning a bachelor's degree in English at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. She became a full-time writer in 1992. Her first novel, Amelia's Intrigue, was published in 1995 in the Zebra Regency Romance imprint. Animals (cats and a parrot) play major roles - and cupid - in her novels and novellas and she also wrote novellas with paranormal elements. According to What ever happened to... she gave up writing due to family obligations. Her last novel, Just Impossible, was released March 2004.
