Book Description
When Samantha's fiance John was crippled in an accident shortly before they were due to be married, the future seemed clear to Samantha. Her duty, love and loyalty to John must remain unchanged. So she stuck by him firmly and affectionately, not letting herself think too much of the future and what kind of marriage, if any, lay in store for her, and even travelling with John to the other side of the world so that he could be with his family again in their Australian homestead. It was a difficult time for Samantha, but her faith that one day John would recover never wavered. She reminded herself of the Spanish saying, Keep a green bough in your heart and God will send you a singing bird, it was Samantha - but instead she met John's disturbing cousin Mark, and soon her loyalty was cruelly strained.
