Agnes is a food columnist. She is buying a big, old Southern house and holding her god-daughter's wedding there in less than a week. While she is chatting on the phone to her friend, "Uncle" Joey, she is cooking raspberry sauce for chocolate cupcakes when a young man shows up in her kitchen with a gun and demands that she turn over her dog.
