Alice Brennan (1913-1973) Born in St. Louis; has been a dancer, hat-check girl, and secretary. She lived in Avoca, Michigan, in the 1960s. She wrote several books, both nurse romances and also in the Gothic category/genre with a strong occult/paranormal influence.
