C. Margery Kempe is the nom de plume of medieval scholar, K. A. Laity. Margery Kempe was a medieval mystic who experienced visions of Jesus and was given to fits of sobbing and wailing and found herself sorely tempted by sex. C. Margery Kempe focuses primarily on erotic romance. Laity also writes non-erotic romance as Kit Marlowe.
