The Congress Of Vienna was a conference of ambassadors of the major powers of Europe held in Vienna, Austria, from November 1814 to June 1815. Its purpose was to settle issues and redraw the continent's political map after the end of the Napoleonic Wars. It ended a few days before the Battle of Waterloo, Napoleon's final defeat.
