Since You And No Other (2005), the novel where Ruth Grayson found wives for her oldest sons, Luke and Morgan, the Grayson children are doing well. Brandon, the middle son, a famous chef and owner of the Red Cactus restaurant, is on edge because he is next in line for his mother's matchmaking. Ruth knows she will have to be very crafty to help Brandon find his wife, and he is steering clear of her. To avoid being trapped in a relationship, he stops dating and only feels safe spending time with his childhood friend Faith McBride. Faith is the successful owner of a five-star hotel, Casa de Serenidad. Brandon is clueless that Faith has loved him since high school, when he was her brother's best friend. Faith has decided that to beat Ruth in her matchmaking, she must plot to win his heart, mind, and body. The tension, excitement, and sparks that ignite between them make for a great romance, while Ruth plots to find mates for her youngest two children.
