Biography

Fern Michaels is the pseudonym of Mary Ruth Kuczkir. The native of Pennsylvania was born in 1933. She now makes her home in South Carolina. She is also a former resident of New Jersey and was inducted into the New Jersey Literary Hall of Fame. She began her writing career in 1973, selling her second manuscript soon after, and is the author of over 67 novels, and has been a New York Times bestselling author multiple times. She has also created the Fern Michaels Foundation, which provides scholarships to needy students.

Writing for the Silhouette Romance imprint, Fern Michaels published six novels.
