Biography
Jax Cassidy is a multi-published contemporary, paranormal, and erotic romance author for Parker Publishing, Amber Quill Press, and Phaze Publishing. She is represented by Roberta Brown, Brown Literary Agency. She has previously written under the pen name Cassidy Kent from 2005-2007. She is Co-Founder of Romance Divas and the Art Director for Parker Publishing. In between skydiving for charity and campaigning against human trafficking, she enjoys the company of close friends and indulges her caffeine fix at the nearest cafe. An avid traveler and an adventurous spirit, Jax has drawn inspiration from her experiences and often blends the exotic mix of Eastern and Western lifestyles into her writing. When she isn't locked up in her office penning her latest manuscript, Jax can be found creating abstract paintings for future art shows, or dividing her time between California, Texas, and Florida.
In 2008, her debut novella with Parker Publishing titled Siren’s Seduction, was featured in the anthology The Lotus Blossom Chronicles: Book 1, which helped launch the Lotus Blossom imprint, in an effort to reach the growing Multi-Ethnic romance market. Her single title Art of Sensuality, released in November 2008, has garnered several favorable reviews including 4 stars from the Romantic Times BookReviews magazine. She has several projects set to be released through 2010 which also includes a paranormal and young adult. Jax has also contributed her poem, Love Slave, to Phaze Publishing's Coming Together at Last, a two volume multi-author anthology of short stories and poetry written by Phaze authors to benefit various charities.
