Jean De Secary was born in Gironde, she lived in Morocco for a long time, then settled again in her native country. She first worked as literary Secretary for an important publishing company. After she got her popular novel Light of the heart published in 1962 by Tallendier, she then dedicated herself entirely to writing. She has published about fifteen novels in her career. She has three love affairs in life: reading, sea and Spain.
Later two of her novels were republished in the USA and Canada by Mystique Books by Harlequin.
