Karin Shah

Karin Shah is an author of Sci-Fi Romance, Fantasy, and Paranormal Romance. After receiving a BA in English as a Writing Art at the State University of New York at Oswego, Karin Shah received a Master's in Information and Library Studies at the University of Buffalo. She worked as a librarian at Plank North Elementary School in Webster, NY for five years, before beginning her pursuit of publication in 1999. Karin Shah is a member of the Romance Writers of America! Central Ohio Fiction Writers, the Fantasy, Furturistic and Paranormal special interest chapter of RWA, and Infinite Worlds of Famtasy Authors. She credits her influences as Jayne Ann Krentz, Sherrilyn Kenyon, Linnea Sinclair, Tamora Pierce, Robin D. Owens, Robin McKinkey, Andre Norton, Kresley Cole, and many others, and has expressed an appreciation for an emotionally satisfying read that is also great fun.
