Lynne Scott-Drennan (b. 1944) obtained her Master in History from California State University at San Jose and began writing on a dare from her husband. Her first try was accepted and in 1981 published as The Fugitive Heiress in the Signet Regency Romance imprint under her pseudonym Amanda Scott. She wrote 3 contemporary romances in the Starlight Romance series in 1980s under her real name.
