Maine Romance Writers of America

The Maine Romance Writers of America (MERWA) was founded in 1994 by four authors, including Ned Ackerman and Tess Gerritsen. The chapter hosts an annual synopsis contest, the Maine Synopsis Contest. The chapter meets monthly with special retreats several times a year. See chapter website for meeting details.
