Series Description
The Psy-Changeling series is comprised of paranormal romance novels set in an alternate universe, on earth, in the late 21 century; and is written by Nalini Singh. The alternate earth described by Singh, is populated by three major races: Changelings (Shapeshifters), Psy (Humans with psychic powers who are conditioned from birth to have no emotions), and Humans. Due to their psychic powers and lack of emotions, the Psy are largely in control of the world; and by extension the Psy Council, which governs the Psy race, is the most powerful ruling body. The overarching series’ story describes the struggles between the Psy Council and other various groups (who include humans, changelings, and some Psy). Each book in the series features a different hero and heroine.
