SELENA LAURENCE Is an American Romance novelist born in Austin, Texas in 1967. Laurence primarily grew up in Albuquerqu, New Mexico, and now lives in Colorado. She graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and also holds a Master's Degree from the University of New Mexico.

Laurence spent nearly twenty years writing non-fiction for local, state, and federal government as well as private businesses and non-profits. She began her career working in a United States Senate office, and went on to become an urban planner. She switched to writing fiction in 2011, and signed her first publishing contract for the short novel, LOVE, LIES, AND BRITISH SPIES in early 2013. Prior to its publication, the novel finaled in the Winter Rose Romance writing contest sponsored by the Yellow Rose chapter of the Romance Writers of America, but Laurence had to withdraw the novel from further consideration due to the publishing schedule.

Laurence writes Contemporary Romance in various sub-genres, including Romantic Comedy and New Adult. She sets all of her novels in unique locales, and uses the tagline, "Escape the Everyday" to describe her work. She is a member of the Romance Writers of America (RWA), and the Colorado Romance Writers (CRW).

Laurence is married and has four children.
