Sylvia June Day is a bestselling American writer. She also writes under the pseudonyms S. J. Day and Livia Dare.

Biography

Sylvia Day is the author of over a dozen novels of romantic fiction. She is a former Russian linguist for the U.S. Army Military Intelligence. She currently writes romantic fiction novels for Kensington Brava (historical), as well as urban fantasy for Tor-Forge (under the pseudonym S.J. Day) and fantasy/futuristic romance for Kensington Zebra (under the pseudonym Livia Dare). Day has also published fiction works with HarperCollins Avon (paranormal romance), Black Lace (contemporary), Ellora's Cave (contemporary/paranormal/futuristic), and non-fiction for BenBella Books and others. She is also the co-founder of Passionate Ink, Romance Writers of America’s first and only erotic romance special interest chapter.

Sylvia Day was a 2007 RITA® finalist in the RITA®: Best Romantic Novella category with her story "Her Mad Grace".

Sylvia Day was a 2008 RITA® finalist in the RITA®: Best Romantic Novella category with her story "Mischief And The Marquess".
