So, I tried the [[Image:Cover-Femme-Metal.jpg|180px|right]] and it didn't seem to change the size.--DawnBurn 18:15, 16 September 2007 (PDT)

Oh bleh. The thing is 196px wide so I didn't notice the difference. 100px as an option worked. Thumbnail is set to auto 180px, so it probably worked as well. Lemme check by resetting my prefs & using thumb. --DawnBurn 18:18, 16 September 2007 (PDT)

And setting my prefs to thumbnail be 120 px also reduced the size when I used thumb as a parameter. I'll go fix up the Image page, sorry for not understand the tech behind this.

I still think it might not be a bad idea to give an "ideal" size for book covers. I had not realized that it was based on what was on your preferences page, either. So that means someone could set it to some weird size. Oh well. --Kay T 18:23, 16 September 2007 (PDT)
