I've wanted to write ever since I held a pencil in my hand. I just never thought I'd have enough courage to write a novel. Only smart people did those. A lot of years passed before I decided that I had what it took. After several false starts I completed my first novel. That one never sold. But it provided good practice and bolstered my confidence.
The moral of this story is never to give up on your dream or yourself. If you have a strong conviction and belief in your ability you can accomplish whatever you want, be it writing or anything else.
Most of the time smart people are born, not made. And luckily, writing only requires a vivid imagination, a skill for storytelling, and a thick skin.
I hope you read my books and enjoy the stories I tell.
