Sylvia Day is the multi-published author of highly sensual and erotic romantic fiction set in most sub-genres. A wife and mother of two from Southern California, she is a former Russian linguist for the U.S. Army Military Intelligence.

After deciding at the age of twelve that she wanted to be a romance novelist, she waited until years later to begin her first story. A year after she first sat down at the keyboard, she sold her first book to Kate Duffy at Brava, and before that book released she sold five more novels, three novellas, and four short stories. Called “up-and-coming” by Romantic Times and “wickedly entertaining” by Booklist, Sylvia is quickly building a name for writing emotional erotic works for the preeminent publishers of erotic romance–Brava, Avon, Black Lace, and Ellora’s Cave. She is also the President and co-founder of Passionate Ink, Romance Writers of America’s first and only erotic romance special interest chapter.
